Bronzes - Statues - Wall Art
Devoted to the arts of the Far East includes a vast range of influences from various cultures and religions. Cornerstones in this tradition are beliefs in spiritual, karmic, or ancestral forces.Dipicted in these bronzes and statues are the great masters such as Buddha, Ganesh, Tara, Kuan-Yin and others.
Eastern religion refers to religions that are mostly either Indian or Chinese in origin: The Dharma faiths of Hinduism, Sikhism, Jainism and Buddhism; and the Chinese religious philosophies of Taoism and Confucianism. This grouping also includes other religions, most notably Shinto, the traditional religion of Japan.
The finish of each reproduction, always hand made and showing craftsmanship and historical sense, is the work of an artisan. Many items are hand color detailed, and we often use fine imported marble for the bases of our statues. Each item comes with a description card that provides background on the history, mythology, location and main characteristics of the original.

 Buddhism is a religion and philosophy based on the teachings of the Buddha, Siddhârtha Gautama, who lived between approximately 563 and 483 BC. Originating in India, Buddhism gradually spread throughout the world.

 Ganesha is thus considered the master of intellect and wisdom. He is depicted as a big-bellied, yellow or red god with four arms and the head of a one-tusked elephant, riding on, or attended to by, a mouse.

 Kuan Yin is the bodhisattva of compassion as venerated by East Asian Buddhists, usually as a female. Commonly known in the West as the Goddess of Mercy. Kuan Yin is also revered by Chinese Taoists as an Immortal.

 Hinduism has around 1.05 billion followers worldwide. The only official Hindu state in the world is Nepal. Unlike offshoots like Buddhism, Hinduism has remained mainly in the Indian subcontinent.

 Tara is actually the generic name for a set of Buddhas or bodhisattvas of similar aspect. These may more properly be understood as different aspects of the same quality, as bodhisattvas are often considered metaphoric for Buddhist virtues.
